Jesus ChristThe life of Jesus Christ exemplified the path of loving kindness for all beings. A common portrayal of Jesus has his heart in the center of his chest, as opposed to the actual location of the heart (organ), to the left. As well, this portrayal shows that light (love) from the heart (chakra) goes in every direction, because Jesus' love was for all, not a selected few. The depiction of thorns around his heart shows that pain and fear are experienced here, in the heart chakra. What we can learn from the birth of ChristJesus' birth was unique in that he was received as a king, and as the son of God. This allowed his soul to fully incarnate and so he began his spiritual path from a young age. Most of us are born in a hectic hospital, where we receive the love of our parents mixed with the fear and confusion of beeping machines, screaming babies and stressed doctors. If we are blessed enough to be present with a newborn baby in the first hours of his life, we should receive the divine child with a fealing of love instead of fear. Do whatever is possible to reduce the fear and anxiety of the mother and father and doctors and nurses. Fear is a learned response, so let us try not to lead our babies down the wrong path from his first moments. In most cases, childbirth will be without complications, so question the usefulness of any 'technology' that stands between a mother's loving heart and the tender heart of her infant. |
